Glenarm storyteller and singer-songwriter Colin Urwin is well known in the Glens of Antrim and further afield for his local stories and folk music.
With over 40 years experience in playing and singing folk songs, he is a familiar face at Storytelling and Music events locally and internationally.
Through the Armstrong Storytelling Trust and Libraries NI, Colin also works regularly with Dementia NI Groups. He describes this as among the most satisfying and rewarding work he does.
Colin submitted ‘The Spanish Armada Tree‘ story as well as a recitation as part of the Northword project and decided to take it a step further and produce a song to accompany the story and poem he had already written.
